Simply look with perceptive eyes at the world about you, and trust to your own reactions and convictions. Ask yourself: "Does this subject move me to feel, think and dream? Can I visualize a print - my own personal statement of what I feel and want to convey - from the subject before me? ~Ansel Adams~

Nice! I've done shots like this before, I like the contrast of the blue and yellow!
Your photos really nail color -- do you do much post-processing? What camera do you use? This is great, I love this shot.
Thanks!
I do love the contrasting colors!
The day was wonderfully sunny, a picture perfect day (pun intended-lol) I do some post-processing but I'm still learning to work in PS so I try to keep it at a minimum, a little lightning or darkening when needed, I may add some contrast, but I try to keep it simple. My camera is the Canon PowerShot A75 -basically a point and shoot, but I use the manual mode, adjusting the exposure & f-stop myself. I can't use filters for my camera so with this shot I used my sunglasses as a makeshift filter. For post-processing I lightened the shadows, added a tiny bit of contrast then sharpened it. I'm learning with photoshop that sometimes less is more. :-)
