A Walk in the Woods

"The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy, amidst the simple beauty of nature. As long as this exists, and it certainly always will, I know that then there will always be comfort for every sorrow, whatever the circumstances may be. And I firmly belief that nature brings solace in all troubles."

I came across your blog by random blog searching...and your pictures have very nice color and good exposure to them. What type of camera/film do you shoot with? Also what type of lens did you use to take this picture...or was this photoshopped. I'm into photography myself but have issues with the close up kind. I have a Canon Rebel Ti with a Macro lens that I try to use for pictures such as yours...
Can you reply to my blog? I'm interested to find out! I don't know if I can find this one again. Thank you :)
WOW!!!!!!!
I simply love this shot. Did you use your camera to get this effect, or did you "photoshop it" later?
By the way, I have some new ones on my photo blog too. I also plan to post more tomorrow.
Cool, like the tones of this one. Nice effect.
Thanks all!! :-)
Val & I.S. I blurred and added a filtering effect in PS, I love the original shot, but something seemed to be missing. I guess I was trying for a more surreal, dreamy sort of feel, trying to focus more on the sunlight and shadows than on the detail.
The quality of this one is quite appealing...has a pinhole camera effect which really works for creating a mood that is surreal. VERY nice!
reminds me of the woods when I was little. Very pretty!
