I really don't like having my photo taken, I'd rather be behind the camera....well this time I was behind & in front of my camera, so with a little Photoshop creativity, I have to say this is one photo of myself that I really kinda like :)
Oooh! Very clever!! I'll have to try that. Tomorrow though ... not tonight. I have very tired eyes after sitting here SO long today! I should be ashamed of myself.
Ok K .. I've been messing with this. I cannot replicate what you've done. How did you seem to black and white everything but your eye - lens/colored part? My pic isn't too good to work with. I should do another. I am not looking up enough and my eyelashes seem to be in the way.
Hi Wendy :) Let me see if I can remember how I did this, lol I used the magnetic lasso tool and outlined just the colored part, once this is selected right click on this (a menu will pop up) feather this about a 3, then right click again & add as a layer. You will now have a layer & a backround listed over on the right of the page. Then select the backround (over on the right of page) go to enhance, adjust color, then remove color. Now you can adjust both of these layers to your liking! Wendy, if I can help with anything else, please feel free to e-mail me, you can find it in my profile :) Good luck! can't wait to see the results!!!
This truly is a beautiful capture...such expression!. Its amazing how indeed the eyes are windows into our soul. One could meditate on this image for a long time.
Now I know why I like your photos so much. We have the identical iris coloring. Cool. Very nice photo and great use of selective color and B&W. Next week ear? You could do a 52 week installment bit by bit ;-)

Well done K. Lovely "eye".
The eye has it! Very cool K.
Cool! I've been playing with photos of myself too, and I HATE photos of myself. Wierd isn't it that we'll accept them if they've been "photoshopped"??
