Moms Sunset

What a great day today was, finished up planting in the gardens, and when the work was finally done and my mom and me were sitting down to dinner, she spotted the most awesome sunset ever, so of course I ran out with the camera...........beautiful ending to a beautiful day!

This glass door knob sure did give me a run for my money, too much light then not enough.....ugh....but it sure was worth all the effort when I spotted this shot!

I was messing with my new tripod today, didn't realize my fireplace candelabra was leaning to the right so much! Or was it me? lol

Colorful Coleus

Thought I'd add a bit of color, brightens up the place! Don't ya think?
I love the many colors of Coleus it adds so much pizzazz to my shade garden.

Acoustic Reflections

I was inspired today with my guitars amazing reflective shine, I didn't know if it was going to work or not, but I was lucky enough to get this one shot with the guitar and the sheet music both basically in focus, And I could think of nothing better to have reflecting into the guitar than sheet music! :-)

I think so much of what I love about this orchard really showed up in this photo.

After the Rain

Pear Blossoms taken shortly after it rained.
This photo was quite the challenge, wind was blowing, light was fading fast and after many unsuccessful attempts I finally had a shot that I was proud of!

Magnolia Blossom

Flowers--oh yes I love to photograph flowers, here's my photo of a Magnolia blossom, I find it quite a challenge trying to get close-ups shots that are in focus.
