Forcing Spring

Forsythia branches, I cut them and put them in a vase to try and force them to bloom, but before I had a chance to trim off the buds that were under the water I just had to try and capture the tiny bubbles that had formed, but I wanted to practice selective focusing & went beyond the bubbles right to the buds. Hopefully they will bloom for a wonderful early spring bouquet : )

LOL! I can't believe you took this pic ... now I'll post the pic I took on Valentine's Day -- also of water bubbles! It was my daughter's tulip stems in the vase. I about fell out of my chair when I saw this ... I'll have to post mine. Great shot!!

Hi Cool Daddio, : ) I hope it works too! I really need a burst of spring right now!

Thanks Dawn : ) I do love close-up shots & these lenses are so amazing!

Are you kidding me Wendy!? You better post yours...wait, I'm going now to check your photo out............LOL, thats so amazing Wendy, how we both had the same ideas! Goes to show--Great minds do think alike! LOL : )

Thanks Stacie : ) I'm not sure if I brought them in to early, I haven't tried to force them to bloom in a few years. I guess if they don't bloom now, I can always go back out and cut off more branches in a few weeks and try again...and again, till I get them to bloom!!

Hi John : ) Thank You!!

This most certainly reminds me of different cuttings I have sitting all around the kitchen this time of year.
This one has that different feel to it, ... and that is what you want.
Comp, lighting, .... very nice!
