Kacie

I'm still working on my people shots, I love trying to capture a moment when someone doesn't have a clue I'm taking their photo. Not so easy, with the people I know, they tend to look the other way when they see I have my camera out.
But not so with Kacie, my niece, she loves posing, actually she likes to run the photoshoot, LOL :)
I've finally learned that I can grab a few candid shots of her while she "sets up" the next shot, you just have to be quick with the shutter button, oh the energy of youth!

She's so cute! I like candid shots a lot, so this one really speaks to me. The sepia tones are great too!

What a beautiful shot! Of course, you have great photographic material to work with there! I stink at snapping people. Perhaps I'll work on that.

Nicely done. Something very captivating about her expression/gaze and the browns all work so well togathers.

Hi Jamie, Thanks :) I think seeing your candid shots have been a huge inspiration to me, Thank you again!

Thanks Wendy :) And I have to agree with you, my little sister does make beautiful kids!! I find that timing is so important with candids, usually I end up with shots of people with one eye closed or their mouth is all goofy, lol

Thanks John!!

Hi Leesa :) Thanks!

Hey Dawn, thanks! lol, she's great ain't she!?

Thanks Cool Daddio, Her gaze is due to the fact that she was pondering over the set up of my next shot of her, something caught her attention to the right, she looked, I snapped. I think I captured the one tiny moment of our time together that she actually stayed still--not easy for an energetic six year old!
