beautiful memories - or lack there of. that's an amazing amount of children.
My heaven that's alot of kids!!! And they all survived I presume. WOW! God Bless your Grandmother!! I love old family photos. I have several from my family. I was blessed to know 4 of my greatgrands growing up, and I still have three grands ... they're all about 88 now.
An interesting back ground story, and a great picture, the frame looks very old and gives it a good feel.
Great little bit of our history K. I like your choice of angle and adding the frame also. And I thought TWO kids were tough:)
Wow! The way you shot it just seems perfect for the story.
Hi Jamie, I think photographs are such wonderful ways to carry on memories for generations to come, maybe someday my photos will tell stories to all the new members of my family :) Yes an amazing amount, lol, better her than me!
Hi Wendy, 17 out of the 19 survived to adulthood, still very amazing in those times!
Your so lucky to have known so many of your granparents,I only knew 1, and I was kinda afraid of her, I was very young & she spoke with a heavy german accent which sounded scary to me at the time, lol
Thanks John :)
