Sweet Scent of Spring
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Spring is just bursting here in New England! I love white flowers, so I picked up this Hyacinth a few days ago for next years garden. Had a bit of fun working with lighting :) & was very happy with the results...and the fragrance...WOW! it's totally incredibly awesome!
ciao
fantastic! I love the top one most especially. you'll have to tell me how you lit it that way. I can smell it!
These are two exceptional photos! The lighting is fantastic and the macro on the bottom one WOW!
I just came back to smell them again!
Hi K, that looks great nice work with the lighting.
Thanks to all of you for your wonderful comments! : )
LOL, Don't they just smell incredible Wendy : )
The lighting is pretty simple, I used a clamp-on work light, the one I have for my light box. (it has a 100 watt bulb in it) I clamped the light to a back of a chair, pulled down all the window shades, turned out all the other lights, it was nighttime so I didn't really have to worry to much about the background, but a black piece of material or paper would do if needed. So I then just played around with the adjustment of the lighting angle so that it wouldn't blast out the colors to much. Fun and very, very easy!
Wow, thank you! I will definitely have to try this. You're very clever!! Yes, they smell devine!
Gorgeous...I have to check if mine are opening yet...CT is about the same as Mass right?
Hi Stacie, Thanks! : )
I'm sure MA & CT have got to be pretty near the same with our plants, so I'm sure yours are just as pretty as these are : )
Gasp...Gorgeous lighting!
Spectacular lighting effect! I'm not a fan of hyacinth fragrance and like Wendy I could smell it as soon as I saw the photo. I forgive you :-) ... beauty prevails.
Thanks Diane & Cool Daddio : )
