Dill Seed

My Dill has gone to seed.
I grew it this year mainly as a fun plant, often I find myself reaching out to touch it so that I can get a good whiff of it....I usually end up wandering around the yard smellin' like a pickle!!

Letting Go

Here's that same cool weed (previous post) releasing its feathery soft seeds into the winds and spreading its coolness throughout the neighborhood.
Wonder if the neighbors will enjoy it as much as I have? :) Posted by Picasa

Dahlia

I didn't have to much luck with my Dahlias this year, very few blooms and when they did bloom they were all so gimpy, so when I spotted this one I thought maybe theres still a chance for them to blossom as they should, I can only hope :) Posted by Picasa

Shine

Out and about at one of my favorite places, Quabbin Reservoir. (and sis I did call, you weren't home)
Seen a rainbow on my way here, spotted a few deer, but the serenity of this place is truly what draws me there, it almost felt like the sun was shining just for me, what a wonderful feeling :) Posted by Picasa

Panoramic View

My first attempt at stitching two photos :)
Waiting for the sunset atop Enfield lookout, Quabbin Reservoir. Posted by Picasa

Time Has Past

Sad to say time has past for the Wild Black-eyed Susans that grow out in my backyard.
But I think of all the seeds scattering in the winds.....settling down over winter......sprouting their roots in the spring.....and with summer, another proud display of golden sunshine.....til next year......:)Posted by Picasa

Seeing Beyond

"To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place... I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them"

Fairy Garden

When sis is away, this sis is gonna play!
Sis and hubby are gone for the week, went to visit mom who's housesitting for them, and well....I just had to go out and play in her many gardens! (with camera in hand, of course!) Posted by Picasa

Corner Design

Something a little different for me, taken at the local college in an entrance way to the auditorium. The architecture of the old buildings are gorgeous and I couldn't pass up the chance to try and capture some of the beauty :) Posted by Picasa

Pear Tree

As I walk through my yard (camera in hand of course) I'm often pulled to the pear tree with the moss creeping up its rough & deeply designed bark, so after I take a few shots, I reach up snag a pear......a little sweet, a little tart...but, ohhhh so good! :) Posted by Picasa
